Most watched Canadian Video – EVER !!!

27,474,725 (millions views) as of today !!!

Good old Pink Floyd. Used to be my favorite band. I grow up listening to their music. It touched my heart in so many ways that I can’t even begin to describe.

Roger (Waters) and band thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here (1975)

Some comments from the YouTube page:

one of the best songs i ever heard

and

Listen UPPPPPP…this song contains some of the Best lines as well as music ever written…..these pieces from this song are just pure poetic beauty to rival Keats or any one else…this will live forever….just wish Kids would appreciate the lyrics before they decide to trip on plastic drugs…..

finally

MOST VIEWED! Cannot think of a more deserving video, this is simply Floyd’s most beautiful song. Thank you for making this video, hopefully anyone who doesn’t know Pink Floyd (then again, who HASN’T heard this song at some point in their lives) will now know them and know how beautiful their music.

it brings back so many memories and so many feeling of uneasiness form my youth.

Is the order of links on a page important for SEO?

I watched this nice short video from Matt Cutts answering questions from the community. This is about the important of links in a page and their position relative to other links on the page.

Matt from Lexington, KY asks: “Is first link priority an on-page SEO factor? If so, should we modify CSS or JavaScript to show the correct link first?”

Here’s what Matt has to say:

Comments from the community range from:

Hi Matt, I don’t think you understood the question correctly. I believe bragadocchio and idevs are correct.

…and

Hi Matt,

I think the question involved links on the same page that pointed to the same destination page. Does the first one count more than the second when it comes to the anchor text?

I suspect that the answer is more complicated than which link is found first by the search engine.

The China Bubble

I have been reading Harry S. Dent books, newsletter and reports over the years and although his “predictions” are sometimes not coming trough the way he originally thought, I am essentially in agreement with the long trend and he has a point when analizing the situation from a demographic standpoint.

Also I follow the blog posts at the H S Dent website and forum and since I did come across an interesting one this morning I thought I would like to share some excerpts with my readers:

The China Bubble
By Charles Sizemoreâ‹… February 4, 2010

…Meanwhile, consumption contributed a comparatively measly 4.6%, while net actually exports subtracted 3.9%. So,virtually all of China’s growth is based on stimulus / investment.  Without this capital spending splurge, China’s growth rate would have been a paltry 0.7%.

Interesting isn’t it? We have all heard of the incredible growth of Chinese economy during these difficult times but…maybe we have been looking at the wrong numbers…

Thoughts?
