Here’s a short video from CommonCraft that demonstrates how to use twitter search.
- Find people (they may be talking about your business)
- Read news in real time
- Watch trends as they happen (use of the #hashtag)
All of this in real time 🙂

They always to tell us:
Not necessarily in this order but… you get the idea. You have probably heard it yourself.
What’s wrong with this picture? What is all this is wrong? Or, let me say it better, what is the sequence is wrong? Or…what if this is wrong for SOME of us? I am not saying this is for everyone.
Here’s the problem: school prepares you for academic and/or professional education but there is virtually no financial education available.
However financial information is what banks ask for. And if you are unable to produce it then…you cannot get what you need.
School train people to be employees.
BUT:
Robert Kiyosaki has been teaching this for years. I always enjoy watching his videos and reading his books. I hope you will too 🙂
Here are some comments to the movie:
anonymousTuesday, July 20, 2010It makes me angry that we were sold this idea that if you just go to college and get a good job that you will be financially secure. A lot of smart, hard-working people have been sold this lie and it just isn’t true anymore. Maybe it was once, but not anymore.
steveWednesday, July 21, 2010How much is your degree actually worth, as compared to the cost of your schooling? Many folks pay for an overpriced eduction (e.g. Ivy league schools). With the help of financial awareness from Robert Kiyosaki, I am filling in the gaps that my formal eductaion did not cover. Still have several years before financial independence, but knowing was the first step to changing. The balance sheet helps keep my decisions in check with my goals.
Enjoy 🙂
Some more horror stories about the Oil Spill.
From TED.com

Another beautiful video from the good folks at TED – ideas worth spreading.
In today’s video Magnus Larsson is showing us a new kind of architecture. Using organic forms and living, growing materials to bring new life into buildings, homes and infrastructure we use in our everyday life.
He has a plan to build in the Sahara desert sands using living bacteria, creating sustainable living spaces and stopping the desert from destroying good arable land.
