How to create remarketing PPC campaigns using Google Adwords

Use remarketing in the Google display network excluding users that have already purchased your products or services.

Properties available:

  • YouTube
  • Google finance
  • Gmail
  • Google maps
  • Blogger
  • Over 1 million mobile display partners

Some tips to setup your campaigns for success:

  1. Use the right campaign structure
  2. Think about how user enter your site
  3. Clearly define your goals
  4. Clearly define your target market

Here’s what you do:

  • Click on the campaign tab
  • Click on “control panel and library”
  • Select audiences
  • Select “new audiences” (from drop down menu)
  • Select “remarketing list”
  • Give a remarketing “campaign name”
  • Select membership duration (30 days default)
  • Paste code on your website
  • Finally create your Adwords campaign to show ads to users that have NOT yet purchased from you
